About Our Company

The coronavirus pandemic was a turning point for many people and in many ways. For a group of expats in Istanbul, it marked the end of several years of back-to-back crises that had seen most foreigners leave the city. As strong believers in the resilience and potential of both Turkey and Istanbul, we anticipated a return of Istanbul’s lost expats, and set up with the aim of helping start-ups, journalists, tourists, and English teachers make the most out of their time and investments in our great adoptive country.

Combing our knowledge and experience of business, event organizing, and charity work with our wide network of both foreign and local companies, we aim to offer effective, efficient, multi-lingual services to individuals and companies who need support getting around language barriers, bureaucracy, and other pitfalls that can ruin a new arrival’s impression of their new home.

Settle Turkey is formed in partnership with Yabangee, an English-language publication and community platform for foreigners living in Turkey. Active since 2012, the platform features over 2,500 articles on all aspects of life here, put together by hundreds of volunteer contributors each having brought their own experiences and guidance to share.

With our first-hand experience and our bilingual Turkish staff, we pride ourselves on getting people out of the most difficult situations, and into their new lives as members of Istanbul’s expat community.
